I found these morel mushrooms while working on a job site. They were growing in a grassy field in Wayne right near the airport. It was a few weeks ago in early May. And no i didn't cook them and eat them.
I just found out though that they are super expensive, $40 for 2 ounces! That's nuts. Dried Morel Mushrooms
This year i figured it would be a cool idea to have a garden in the back yard. I started it in May and had to dig up the sod by hand and rototill the ground. And just to let you know, cutting sod by hand for an area 16'x12' isn't a lot of fun. Here's the area half way through sod cutting and then after tilling.
I planted seeds for:sweet corn
carrots
onions
scallions
tomatoes
cherry tomatoes
beans
melons
watermelons
cantaloupe
gourds
pumpkins
sunflowers
sweet basil
